Freud's theory influences the world of psychology and beyond today. Some of the best known are the principles of pleasure, drive, and oppression. Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was an Austrian neurologist and the founder of Psychoanalysis which is a praxis for the treatment of mental disorders based on conversations between the patient and the psychoanalyst.Downloads
