Resumen

Este artículo explora los desarrollos futuros en la investigación de las interfaces cerebro-máquina (IMC), destacando sus avances, desafíos y perspectivas. La interfaz cerebro-máquina representa una intersección dinámica entre la neurociencia, la ingeniería y la medicina, y progresa rápidamente para restaurar la función motora en personas con discapacidades graves. Las investigaciones futuras deberían abordar cuestiones éticas, la precisión de las señales neuronales y el desarrollo de dispositivos más asequibles y no invasivos. Si bien los MCI presentan un potencial significativo, aún quedan muchos obstáculos técnicos y sociales por superar.
